Glazing Contractors Association of BC Industry Awards

GCABC recognizes the hard work that each individual member, company, and industry leader plays in helping our industry and trade grow. We want to showcase the hard work each of you put into your work. We want to honour those individuals and companies that have gone above and beyond.
Award Categories - (click on each category for nomination forms)
- GCABC Member of the Year (Company)
- Project Excellence Award (Company)
- Outstanding Individual Award (Individual)
- Community Contribution Award (Company or Individual)
- GCABC Volunteer of the Year (Individual)
General Rules
- Projects must be completed by September of every year.
- You may nominate a company or individual or you can submit a self-nomination
- Applicants must either be a employee of a company or the company must be a member in good standing.
- You may enter more than one category but can only submit one nomination per category.
- Entry must be typed: maximum of three pages, 300 – 1000 words
- Photos, brochures, and press clippings may be included as supporting documents to your submission
- Completed entry form with your submission.
- No entry fee for submissions.
- All entries must be received no later than October 15th of every year.
Judging
Judges will be selected from the GCABC Alumni and/or Board members. Top three finalists will be outlined in the following issue of the Cutting Edge Enewsletter and in Glass Canada magazine. Submissions will be judged on content and not appearance. Judges may follow up with applicants for clarification purposes at their discretion. One winner per category, although not all categories may be awarded in any given year. Decision of the judges are final.

efficiency have been added to the BC Building Code and will
come into effect on September 5, 2008. More information on
